The amazing Porto Blues Fest will be back on 17 and 18 May. And because summer days are the best days to enjoy the best music, the acoustic shell in the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal will be the perfect stop-by in Porto.

Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise Hits will make you discover the Blues as there's no other musical genre quite like the blues. The sultry melodies and the underlying emotions, such as joy, sorrow or accomplishment can "make you feel really, really good", like Nina Simone showed us.

The tickets for this third edition are already available and adding to the party there will be a gastronomy experience that links both the concerts and the tastes of New Orleans brought to the Invicta by chef Chakall.

Henrik Freischlader will open the festival, taking to the stage his blues rock with guitar players Peter Green, Steve Ray Vaughn and most especially Gary Moore.

Philadelphia singer Juwana Jenkins mixes the soul of the sixties with Motown and Sax sounds, as well as modern blues.

On Saturday, the "King of feel", name that Robert Plant gave to Gwyn Ashton will bring to Porto the sonorities of rock blues.

The line-up concludes with a tribute concert to Wolfram Minnemann, German pianist, who lives in Porto since 1973. This last Porto Blues fest will be enlivened by the sound of boogie-woogie and honky-tonk.

Tickets are available for sale online and in the usual places. Price tickets range from 20 euros (one day) and 30 euros (two-day ticket).
