This week, there are major films by French Directors at the Cinephile Quarantine. The first film, French Cancan (1954), by Jean Renoir, is available for viewing from 21st to 23rd April. A romantic plot, sentimental and rather fictional.
On the 23rd, Casque d'Or ("Golden Helmet") is a 1952 French film directed by Jacques Becker. It is a Belle Époque tragedy, the story of an ill-fated love affair. Available for viewing till 25th April, noon.
The last great film is La Poison, a 1951 French comedy drama film, written and directed by Sacha Guitry. It is available for viewing till 28th April.
