Today is the last day to build on your skills with the free skate lessons at Ramalde Sports Park. This is the last Monday of an intense and largely attended initiative by Porto City Hall, via the municipal company Ágora. Classes only take 12 participants simultaneously, and are scheduled to take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Under the Covid-19 pandemic control measures, the space is exclusively available for skaters, who must comply with the guidelines by the DGS. Skaters must comply with 3 metres distancing among skaters and material and equipment sharing is forbidden, although Ágora will provide helmet and board to those who need them.

Each participant must submit her/his appointment via email to desporto@agoraporto.pt, stating name, age (must be over six and less than 60).

This equipment reopened on 18th May, following the lockdown period due to the pandemic and it has been a success among practitioners and wannabe skaters.

It is worth recalling that Porto City Hall invested circa 150 thousand euros in this 950 square meter, designed by architect and skater Francisco Lopez "França", which can house up to 55 skateboarders and skaters simultaneously.
