Town's Public Cabinet (re)opens face-to-face service starting today, 11th May and with prior appointment

The Townsman Office resumes face-to-face service upon prior appointment, starting on 11th May.  

This may happen only when the request for that service is duly reasoned and when distance service is not possible (by phone or online), as the Townsman Office is working on a teleworking regime, since 16th March and online customer service is the best means to contact the Townsman Office.

There are rules to gain access to these premises. These are in line with the guidelines issued by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), established by the Government and inscribed in the order by the Mayor of Porto, announced last Friday, 8th May.

For face-to-face customer service, citizens must make a service appointment via the phone service 222 090 400, available from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, stating the reason for the face-to-face appointment, which will only be accepted when the matter cannot be solved by resorting to the digital channels.

Also, face-to-face customer service by Águas do Porto is done at this Town's Public Cabinet for payments, payment agreements and document delivery, upon prior appointment via the municipal company's Balcão Digital or the phone number 225 190 800.

Following the appointment, customers must use a mask (everyone should bring their own) and keep a 2 meters safety distance.

Due to the current pandemic, the Townsman Office is working on a teleworking regimes, since 16th March. Phone assistance is also available between 9am and 5pm, working days.

It is worth highlighting that this online service has been optimised to better cope with demand and needs during the quarantine and the shutdown, so almost 100% of its workers are on teleworking.

Online customer service by the townsman office increases, as the Balcão Virtual keeps running in the normal working hours.
