Traditional "Singing of the kings" in the streets of Porto delighted passers-by

As tradition, Sunday afternoon, on 5 January, nine folkloric groups of Porto paraded through the city, in line with "The Singing of the Kings" initiative, aka "As Janeiras", which occurs in January, on The Three King's Day.

Emanating from different places and following specific routes, the folk-groups sang and performed traditional songs of this time of year, starting at 3 pm; the groups conjoined at Avenida dos Aliados for a final performance, by the Christmas tree at 5.30 pm.
