Turkish Airline gives the perfect details for a two-day visit in Porto

The March edition of Skylife in-flight magazine, from Turkish Airlines, provides the perfect two-day itinerary and some of the top attractions to visit the city of Porto.

According to Skylife, "Porto is home to some incredible architecture, as well as great restaurants, pretty gardens and quirky shops". Make no mistake. ALL this is completely true and much more!

The most enjoyable Saturday is about tile observing at the Igreja do Carmo, stroll around the most peculiar shopfronts, all decorated to welcome spring, and you'll find yourself at the São Bento Train Station. Feel free to be in awe of the amazing historic scenarios depicted on the walls.

Take the bus or the taxi in front of the station and head to Casa da Música for a taste of contemporary architecture.

As the sun sets and the warm colours of this ever welcoming city embrace the landscape, take time to enjoy the array of typical dishes and cuisine. If you can bite off more than you can chew, have a go at Francesinha or Tripas!
