Unforgetable movies in improbable wannabe "movie theatres"

Memorable scenes and striking characters were on the menu for the 3rd edition of the "Salão Piolho" initiative, which concluded on 9 December with the screening of short films by Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Méliès at Porto City Hall main foyer.

The whole event included the screening of six concert films in not so usual places in Porto Historic Centre, showcasing some of the cult films of the History of Cinema, namely "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari ", by Robert Wiene, "Dragonflies with birds and snake", by Wolfgang Lehmann, "The Kid", by Charlie Chaplin, "Nosferatu", by F. W. Murnau

Besides Porto City Hall main Foyer, the other venues chosen to hold this cinema cycle were São Bento Station, the Clube Fenianos Portuenses and the Voluntary Firemen Brigade of Porto.

The cycle was organised by the Inatel Foundation, jointly with Porto City Hall.
