Up for an adventure? The Clérigos Tower is one of the most visited monuments in the city of Porto. It was designed by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni and construction works began in 1754. The work was completed in July 1763.

This monument is of baroque inspiration and to reach the top, visitors have to climb 225 steps (feeling bold already?)

Visitors will have the chance of appreciating the extraordinary city sight at 75 metres high.

The Portuguese Ministry of Culture has acknowledge the Museum Brotherhood of Clérigos as member of the Portuguese Museum Network.

The museum's mission is to "show visitors and the world the history of the Brotherhood of Clérigos and its famous architect (Nicolau Nasoni), as well as religious art collections, paintings, furnishing, sculpture, jewellery and ecclesiastic garments", father Américo Aguiar enthused.
