"Waves and Whirlpools" guided tour to Porto Municipal Gallery this weekend

Tomorrow, 12th September is opening day at Porto Municipal Gallery with the inauguration of the exhibitions "Prémio Paulo Cunha e Silva -- 2.nd edition" and "Waves and Whirlpools". The exhibits are access free and will be on display until 15th November. Operating hours are from Tuesdays to Sunday, between 10am and 6pm.

Film that promotes Porto is awarded international prize

"A location for every story", produced by Porto City Hall and directed by André Tentugal, won the Terres Travel Festival 2020, during the vent held in Tarragona, Spain. The film won the Promotional productions of Film Commissions and Film Offices category.

Ars Electronica is a Festival for art, Technology and Science and it is happening in Porto

The Ars Electronica Porto Garden by FNDMT is happening in Porto as of today and it brings to the city of makers roundtables and debates on how to "map the new world". The festival runs from 9th September to 13th September and the agenda is streamed online.

Noites no Pátio at the Museum are back till September ends

The "Noites no Pátio" [something like "Evenings in the yard"], at the Museum of the UP are on for a second edition, this month of September. Casa Comum of the University of Porto, which organises this initiative, has prepared an entire month of September (as in July), with an agenda to meet all tastes and to content all age groups, starting this 9th September.

The Municipality of Porto just launched the project "Study in Porto". The main goal is to centralize in one online platform bountiful information where new students in town can learn things about the city and better adjust and adapt to a new reality both as a student and someone from Porto.
