Guide to understanding the Environment in Porto and the 2020 results

The Municipality of Porto has released a Guide to help understand the Environment in the city. This 28-page document pinpoints the city's strategy regarding environmental issues and where it wants to stand in a near future.

Employment and turnover has taken on greater prominence in startups in Porto and even surpassed the Porto Metropolitan Area

A study by ScaleUp Porto concludes that between 2016 and 2018 the Invicta has seen a steady growth in employment and turnover in the startups in town, at twice the speed of that observed between 2013 and 2015. The companies' average business growth in Porto's entrepreneurial ecosystem has even reached 26.2%, whereas similar companies in Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) stood at 7.7%.

Porto International Puppet Festival or the essence of creativity at the Invicta

The viaduct of Andresas won the Global Future Design Awards 2020, in the Urban Design category, sixteen years after its inauguration under the Euro 2004. This flyover was built in the framework of the European football competition and to improve accessibility to the football stadium of Bessa, by architect Manuel Ventura.
