The city of Porto wins for the third time this competition for Best Destination in Europe with a record number of votes - about 138 thousand votes - and holds first position ahead of 19 destinations.

"Porto is a very vibrant city, a young city and a city that puts a lot of effort and recognition into design". This is how Demetrios Fakinos, European Design Awards Director describes this year's city host of ED Awards, on 27 May.

For the first time hosted in Porto, the European Design Awards Festival offers special conditions to students, who are eligible to pay 5 euros to attend the conference, and the awards ceremony on May 27 and will be able to access freely all activities associated with the event, such as design workshops.
