Founded in 1994, the International Association of Educating Cities (IAEC) is a non-profit Association, constituted as a permanent collaborative structure uniting local governments committed to the Charter of Educating Cities, which is the road map of the cities that comprise it.

The book of photos "Nosso Porto" (Our Porto) was presented yesterday by journalist Júlio Magalhães, at Alfandega do Porto. This is a co-author book by Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto, Mário Ferreira, manager of the Douro Azul, Armando Tavares and Manuel Varzim, both amateur photographers.

The Green Project Awards ceremony will be for the first time hosted in the city of Porto. On January 23, in Serralves, the 9th edition winners of Green Project Awards will be presented, in a co-organized ceremony by Porto City Hall and Lipor.
