Metro do Porto and STCP (Bus) do not provide strengthening of operations in the eve of St John

The Metro do Porto will operate until 1 am on the eve of St John, from 23 to 24 June. This measure is taken to meet the constraints under the Covid-19 pandemic; as such, the company announced that the operations will be the same as any given Sunday.

They are one of the celebration’s highest symbols; more than enough reason to place the installation “Flores de Manjerico”, at the Avenida dos Aliados, by the architecture studio FAHR 021.3, which features 900 basil plants in a wooden structure. This is an initiative by Porto City Hall, via the municipal company Ágora. Enjoy and scent it until 23 June.

124 pavilions and 78 entities take centre stage at Porto Book Fair

Porto Book Fair is back in town from 27 August to 12 September, in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal. The 2021 edition received 82 applications, of which 78 have been approved, namely publishers, distributors, bookstores, used bookshops, and institutional entities that will occupy 124 pavilions, and another pavilion that will be utilized by Porto City Hall.
