A festival worth hitting in 2019 is Misty Fest

Casa da Música hosts the Misty Fest 2019, to be held on 4th November. The real selling point of Misty Fest is that it has always presented the best music over the years, in the best concert halls.

Misty Fest's line-up sees a wide variety of performances between cities from the likes of this year's artists: Teresa Salgueiro, Maria Gadú, Kyle Eastwood, and more.

Teresa Salgueiro, former Madredeus vocalist, takes to the stage on 4th November to present her newest album "Alegria", a celebration of her 12th anniversary as a solo artist and to raise people's awareness on the challenges of humanization at global level.

The performances scheduled at Casa da Música can indeed lift you as if you had got "music festival Valhalla on your hands".

The festival also promotes concerts by the British Nitin Sawhney, in Porto, Lisbon and Coimbra, which will revisit "one of the greatest classics of British modernity", the album "Beyond Skin", released in 1999.

In addition, Kyle Eastwood, son of renowned actor and director Clint Eastwood, performs in Porto, setting out a repertoire of music movies as "Gran Torino", directed by his father, or the "Midnight Express" and "Taxi Driver".

Also, Brazilian singer and composer Maria Gadú is back in Portugal, within the Misty Fest, in the scope of the "Pelle" tour, taking to the stage "solely with his electric and classical guitar".
