A Herdade is a 2019 Portuguese drama film directed by Tiago Guedes. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 76th Venice International Film Festival
The film premieres at Campo Alegre on 19 September 2019.
Albano Jerónimo, Sandra Faleiro and Miguel Borges are some of the actors that starred in this Portuguese drama that narrates a family saga on the greatest latifundia in Europe. The film was shot in Portugal and in France and revives the political and social features of the Portuguese society of the forties, and also from the 25th April Coup d'état till present time.
