BIN@, cofounded by the University of Porto, adresses environmental sustainability in Brazil

The 10th edition of BIN@?, an international network cofounded by the University of Porto, in 2010, will be held in Brazil, from 30th October until 1st November.

The city of Ribeirão Preto, in São Paulo, Brazil, will host 350 delegates that will address the challenges of health, biotechnology and agriculture at world level.

The main goal of this event is to support the establishment of a sustainable platform for the exchange of good practices and innovation opportunities with partners from different areas of intervention.

The conference is organised by the Innovation and Technology Park of Ribeirão Preto (SUPERA Parque) , jointly with the Innovation Agency of the University of São Paulo (AUSPIN).

BIN@BRAZIL 2019 will focus on circularity and sustainability and it is an opportunity to bring the pubic sectoe, the academia and companies closer, by integrating a holistic vision towards development is such areas as health, biotechnology and agriculture.

"O mundo da ciência, tecnologia e inovação passa por constantes mudanças. A formação de futuros talentos com uma visão holística e multidisciplinar para transformar o conhecimento gerado nas universidades e nas empresas em benefício da população tornou-se uma necessidade global básica", pinpoints Pedro Coelho, one of the mentors of the BIN@? network, who runs the Support Unity to Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
