Urban Art display covers the façade of the Bolhão Market construction site. Although utilitarian, these sidings are also a formidable opportunity to amaze passers-by by providing them a new perspective on the site. Less gloomy and rather bright and colourful.

The aim is also to provide a creative feedback on urban art as a ways of expressing the contexts of urban realities, this case being the comprehensive rehabilitation work that is ongoing at the iconic Bolhão Market building and enveloping area.

By creating a multi-perspective piece of art, the place adds a new visual story to the historic building and cityscape.

This is part of the project to come up with wall designs created by artists, who have accepted Porto City Hall's challenge to express their own feelings about the city through their works.

The result is an array of impressive techniques and city related art, done by artists who live in or have a passion for city life. Artists such as The Caver, street artist from Lisbon, and Hazul and GodMess from Porto, or OKER from the city of Maia, as well.

Their role is to "paint" a cultural construction so that people can unify with the urban environment.
