The usual Saturday programme at Bolhão Temporary Market "Chef at Bolhão" kicks off this season with a whole new format; as of 1st February, and for the following February Saturdays, the Market features fun and informative activities for the entire family and friends.

Brace yourselves, because tomorrow Chef Carlos Torres, of the éLeBê Group, unveils what "Uncomplicated cuisine" really means, in a workshop jointly organised with the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism.

Throughout the year, the Chef at Bolhão will give lessons on how to prepare simple, balanced meals that taste good. On 1st February is time to learn about desserts, starting at 11am.

Entrance is free, as usual.

Food and Gastronomy are top items at Bolhão Temporary Market, the fresh market of the Invicta, which is temporarily set at La Vie Shopping Centre, while the milestone building, just across the street, is undergoing long time due deep renovation work.

Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, is the Mayor who finally took the matters into hand and started the business of renovating the old Bolhão Market, whose rehabilitating works were emergent.

It should be mentioned that both merchants and tenants of Bolhão moved to the Temporary facilities while the historic Market undergoes rehabilitating works.
