Daniel Seabra takes the performance "Crisálida" to the understage of Rivoli, on 18 and 19 January, at 4pm, in the scope of the 88th anniversary of Rivoli. Entrance is free.

This is a Contemporary Circus performance that deals with the issues of gender demystification, based on the works by Nietzsche, Sartre and Goffman. The individual is featured as a social being, and the new concepts are crafted so as to identify the human nature.

The author uses a circus technique, which includes video and visual experiences that offer new concepts and feelings by means of riddles.

This performance - Crisálida - is Daniel Seabra's first solo, and it is included in the project "Fractions of a Whole", created for the Festival Imaginarius, within the Mostra Estufa.

Daniel Seabra was born in Porto, and he began his artistic career in 2010, with a specialization in aerial acrobatics by Chapitô.
