Discover Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota through the music of Ornatos Violeta tonight

Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in Porto, inaugurates tonight, 31st October, with a concert by the hometown band Ornatos Violet.

The "360° Performance" concert, whilst celebrating the opening of this refurbished venue in the Invicta, also marks the 20th anniversary of the album "O monstro precisa de amigos".

The Ornatos Violeta band was formed in 1991, in Porto, and kept performing for about a decade, releasing two albums "Cão" and "O monstro precisa de amigos". The band, which reached the category of cult band, split in 2002.

This historic building has always been an integral part of Porto cityscape and now, thanks to Mayor Rui Moreira and his team, it is refurbished with state-of-the-art facilities and fitted for future needs of international business or cultural events.

In addition, the landmark facility that is restored with attractive historic features and architectural value.

The original building, which was built in the fifties, was in need of restoring for years now, and the renovation world kicked off in the end of 2017, with an investment that surpassed the amount of eight million euros.

The Ornatos Violeta concert sold out, so it will repeat on 1st November, at the same hour.
