Hungarian airliner Wizz Air will operate three weekly flights from Porto to Vienna, in Austria, starting on 18 December this year.
The low-cost airline is headquartered in Budapest, which serves many cities across Europe, and continues to bet in Porto for the company's network expansion. The company has already announced the opening of the Porto-London route scheduled to start on 2 July 2019.

Wizz-Air will operate two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Sundays, (quarta-feira e domingo) using the 100-seater plus Airbus 321 (320 seats), and intends to conquer significant market shares of the Austrian market, which has been affected by the bankruptcy of the Air Berlin Group, and its Austrian subsidiary Niki.

It should be mentioned that airliners such as Lauda/Ryanair, Level/IAG and Austrian/Eurowings/LH are already operating this share of the market.

Air links from Porto to Vienna had an extremely significant increase with the start of operations by Level, and Lauda announced the beginning of operations as of October next, for this route.
