From Porto to Montpellier with easyJet

The first flight operated by easyJet and connecting Porto and Montpellier took off on 14th December. This bet by the low cost British airliner in Portugal is part of the company's business strategy, as announced by the airliner this summer. 

The route Porto - Montpellier Méditerranée had already been announced by the low cost British airliner, in the scope of the company's business strategy in Portugal.

The new route relies on two weekly flights, on Mondays and Saturdays and it will bne operated until 28th March 2020.

"We are very pleased to inaugurate this route and to strengthen easyJet's commitment with the city of Porto (...) We are proud to add to the seasonal adjustment of tourism in the region", states easyJet's director for Portugal, José Lopes, in a statement.

Currently, the low cost airliner operates 66 routes in Portugal.
