The documentary collection "Porto. Postais ilustrados antigos nas coleções da BPMP" ["Porto. Illustrated Postcards of Porto Municipal Public Library - BPMP", free translation] is a project that invites everyone to know how the city of Porto was like in olden times. 

The collection features over 700 postcards that are accessible from home. So, choose a comfortable place, relax and discover how the streets, markets and gardens looked like in olden days at the Invicta, as far as the end of the nineteenth century.

This iconographic acquis is now available through the digitizing of documents, namely 700 postcards that are now accessible for viewing as a most amazing virtual exhibition of ancient Porto.
