IndieJúnior Allianz 2020 concludes on 2nd February

The IndieJúnior Allianz Film Festival fourth edition happens in Porto from 28 January to 2 February. The theme for this year's child and juvenile festival is "A Viagem" ["The Voyage", free translation].

The most creative and original children's feature and short films festival, the IndieJúnior Allianz Film concludes this Sunday, in Porto.

This 6-day event kicked off on 28 January and runs till 2nd February, at Rivoli Theater, Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, Casa das Artes and to the Rectory of University of Porto.

The highlight, this edition, is the work of Norman McLaren, one of the most relevant Scottish filmmakers and a pioneer of cinematographic animation techniques, namely produce animation straight up from the film.

Also included in the programming is the "Film + Debate" on "The Challenge of talking about sex to the youngest, at the Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto, on 30th January, at 6.30pm.

The starting point of this debate is the film "Foreplay", a children's documentary on sexual education. The film was screened at the Rivoli auditorium, at 11am.
