The Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto hosts the tertulia on Science, Religion and Knowledge themed "Islam, Koranic Literalism, Science and Future Challenges", on 14th February, at 5pm.

Entrance is free, but participants who wish an attendance certificate should register at crc.up.pt/preinscricoes/

This event is held in the scope of the cycle Science, Religion and Knowledge, organised by João Paiva, of the Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.

The issues at the discussion table are Islam, Koranic literalism, Science and future challenges, with Mehdi Nassaji, of the Canterbury Christ Church University, UK.
