Time and place will inspire and delight jazz lovers (and wannabe jazz lovers as well) at Serralves Park.

Find these experiences on 6 July, with the premiere of Pedro Melo Alves' in igma. This band won the Bernardo Sassetti Composition award in 2017 and is one of the most acclaimed names of the new national jazz generation.

On 13 July, the programme features "Fail Better! & Théo Ceccaldi", also a première and delivering free jazz, post-bop, rock and even folk and country sonorities, combined with some impromptu.

The last day of the "Jazz in the Park" presents "Ácidos & About Angels and Animals", a debut as well, who will perform free jazz and improvised music as well.

This event is a promise to discovering something new, as jazz is constantly evolving, blending the old with the new. And even if you can hear jazz at home, the best jazz is played live!
