The exhibition themed “Cuidar Selvagem: Arquiteturas de amor e correspondência”, curated by Ana Jara and Alberto Altés is on display at the The Palacete dos Viscondes de Balsemão, namely at the Triplex, which is part of the Museu da Cidade. This event is included in the activities by Porto Design Biennale 2021.

The exhibit is entrance free and can be visited until 22 July. This display features “a selection of love stories, correspondence and commitment that share an ethic of care as regards the possible and the impossible, driven by an entropic force that resists bureaucratic control and defeatism”.

This display also represents “the notions of caring and the remit within spatial practices to investigate the architectures of meeting, attention and care. ‘Cuidar Selvagem’ is aimed at reconnecting our notion of caring by rethinking ‘the savage’ as a way of (un)knowing and renovating our ability to be amazed, within a physical relationship with the world and going beyond human forms of life”.
