Museum of FC Porto is granted another two awards

The Portuguese Museology Association - APOM - distinguished the projects "Histórias na Cidade" and "Rota do Dragão", of the Museum of FC Porto. It is worth mentioning that in 2015, the APOM had already awarded the Innovation and Creativity Prize to the Museum FC Porto, which is also the first Associate Member of the World Tourism Organisation of the United Nations. 

The Museum of FC Porto was granted the awards (Parceria) 'Partnership' and (Informação Turística) 'Touristic Information' of the Portuguese Museology Association (APOM), during the gala that took place in Leiria.

Such recognition enhances the importance and the impact this two projects, developed by the Museum of the FC Porto, and their role in the Invicta.

The Prize APOM Parceria - 2019' recognised the event "Histórias na Cidade" ["Histories in the City", free translation], which showcased past events related to the club, namely the 5th anniversary of the Museum FC Porto and the 125 years of the FC Porto, which were celebrated in September 2018. This initiative was held in several venues of the city.

The Prize APOM - Informação Turística 2019' distinguishes the "Route of the Dragon", organised by the Museum FC Porto and the historian from Porto, Joel Cleto. This guided tours to the permanent exhibit at the Museum of FC Porto and to the city of Porto reveal facts and curiosities regarding the club's memoirs.

These APOM prizes are granted every year under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.
