NOS Primavera Sound 2021 poster includes Gorillaz and Tame Impala. Full festival ticket available as of 18th June

The ongoing pandemic of the novel coronavirus is affecting the music scene at world level. Events scheduled for 2020 have been postponed for next year; NOS Primavera Sound is one of such events. 

NOS Primavera Sound is set to happen on 10th, 11th and 12h June, at the City Park of Porto.

This year's would be top headliners are included in the festival poster for 2021, namely Tyler, The Creator, FKA twigs, Beck, Bad Bunny and King Krule, alongside new top entries as Gorillaz, the rock band created by Blur lead man, Damon Albarn, the Australian Tame Impala, icons of psychedelic pop music and the American singer Doja Cat.

These are but some of the highlights for the 2021 poster edition of NOS Primavera Sound, which gathers 63 artists from 21 nationalities under the Primavera Sound label that merges reputed artists, such as Kim Gordon (former Sonic Youth) and Dinosaur Jr, Chromatics, Cigarettes After Sex or DIIV, just to mention a few, and emergent musicians and performers as well, namely Koffee, Georgia, Paloma Mami, Penelope Isles or black midi.

As usual, there are national artists included in the NOS Primavera Sound, as Chico da Tina, David Bruno, Montanhas Azuis, Throes+The Shine and Holy Nothing.

The dance type participants will have a parallel atmosphere brought by the Primavera Bits stage, headed by Avalon Emerson, Special Request de Paul Woolford, Aurora Halal, Octo Octa and Eris Drew, DJ Marcelle/Another Nice Mess, Sherelle, DJ Firmeza, MVRIA and Arrogance Arrogance.

The novelty next year is that urban and Latin sounds will make it to the dance floor, with sessions delivered by reggaeton DJ Playero, Florentino, Kelman Duran and DJ Python (aka Sangre Nueva).

Purchased tickets for NOS Primavera Sound 2020 are valid for the 2021 edition

In a released statement, the organization indicated that "ticket holders for NOS Primavera Sound 2020 will be admitted to the 2021 edition, but it is mandatory that tickets are exchanged for a valid ticket for next year's Nos Primavera Sound.

Tickets' exchanges are to be done in the place where the tickets were purchased, starting the day of the ticket sales opening for 2021 till 31st December 2020; this exchange has no cost whatsoever, according to Pic-Nic Produções.

Those who are not able to attend NOS Primavera Sound 2021 can, in turn, ask for ticket refund between 15th and 30th June 2021. Refund payments will take place in the following month of July, between 1st and 15th July.

Starting 12 noon on 18th June, full festival tickets for the NOS Primavera Sound 2021 are available at the usual venues.
