Once Upon a Time... at São João National Theatre

Today, 11th December and on 13th December, as well, two shows will stand on stage at the Educational Centre of São João National Theatre, at 7pm and 11am, respectively. These are the final projects of the Theatre Clubs Under-18 and Under-88.

“Once Upon a Time – Amor em Tempo de Pandemia”, staged by Emílio Gomes, recalls the old time iconic novel “Romeo and Juliet” and the way it is perceived by those Under-18 on the boundaries of love.

In turn, the Under-88, cover the characters of the final acts of the Bardic tragedies, such as Twelfth Night, King Lear and The Tempest and intertwine appearances ans essence of things in “Once Upon a Time – A Verdade Secreta”, with theatre staging and dramaturgy by Emílio Gomes and Nuno M. Cardoso.
