Porto hosts the 3rd edition of Tourism Explorers on 12 July

Porto hosts the "Tourism Explorers" event on 12 July, at 6pm, at the Porto School of Hotel Management and Tourism.
Tourism Explorers is a free programme, which requires registration, organised by the "Fábrica de Startups" ["Startups Factory", free translation], in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship in Portugal, by means of creating new tourism related startups and support their development. 

Registrations for the third edition of Tourism Explorers are now open, and this is the largest growth acceleration programme in the tourism area, which is jointly organised by the Porto School of Hotel Management and Tourism.

The "Fábrica de Startups" is travelling through Portugal to carry out their national roadshow and to promote this event, till the end of July.

The "Tourism Explorers" initiative is taking place at the same time in 12 cities in Portugal and it includes two stages: Ideation and Acceleration.

The Ideation stage comprises the collection of new solutions by people interested in developing tourism related projects and the acceleration stage, which includes the testing of projects and business models validation.

In the past two years, several startups have accelerated their businesses with Tourism Explorers, namely City Check, Immersive Pyx, Live Electric Tours or Sailside.

Registrations for the programme are open till the end of August. Participation is free.
