Porto Intermodal Transports's app was awarded Best Customer Practice in Cannes

"Anda" app, of the TIP - Porto Intermodal Transports, was granted the award "Best Customer Practice", during the 7th edition of Calypso Awards. This initiative annually rewards entities that have contributed for the promotion and development of public transport innovative solutions.

The app "Anda" is available as of June 2018 and its main goal is to simplify the Intermodal transport system. It was developed by TIP, jointly with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and it enables users to travel without prior knowledge of the available tariffs.

"Anda is a mobile app designed to enable travelling within Porto public transport network with Andante multimodal fares. It does so in a simple, fast and comfortable fashion"; also, "travellers do not need to know fare rules and may travel with the certainty that they will only be charged with the minimum possible value for all journeys", as stated by Google Play.

It is very easy to use Anda, simply create an account and associate one of the following payments methods to your account: credit/debit card or Multibanco/ATM card. Validate it and travel!

Anda app can be used in Metro do Porto, in STCP buses, CP trains and private transport operators in Porto Metropolitan Area.

The prize giving ceremony too place in Cannes, France, on 27th November.
