Porto Municipality prepares contingency plan to accommodate the most vulnerable

The city of Porto prepares resources to support the underprivileged segment of the population, as far as the fight of Covid-19 is concerned. This initiative is jointly organised by Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, Porto City Hall and the Social Security.

Through joint efforts involving the public authorities, the Misericórdia and Porto City Hall have prepared 10 beds to ensure quarantine facilities to those without a regular accommodation and in a vulnerable situation.

The management will be run by Misericórdia do Porto at the Hospital Centre of Conde de Ferreira, jointly with Social Security and Health Authority, and it will last as long as necessary under the current contingent situation of the new Coronavirus spread.
