Porto and seven other European municipalities set up SynchroniCity open call, from June 1st 17:00 CEST to September 30th 17:00 CEST.
Manchester, Helsinki, Milan, Antwerp, Carouge, Santander, Eindhoven and Porto are the partner cities in this call, whose main goal is the creation of digital services and solutions by entrepreneurs and developers to improve the lives of citizens and grow local urban economies.

The most innovative proposals will receive funding worth three million euros to further implementation of the projects, in the context of IoT-enabled urban services which are interoperable, replicable and reusable across cities and across domains.

Applications run till the end of September and each municipality is engaged in specific technological areas. For Porto, the focus is mobility, citizen engagement, environment and well-being.

Cities should refer to the Synchronicity Platform, which comprises the above mentioned partner cities as well as cities in Mexico and in South Korea.
