And, with new startups and digital companies setting headquarters in Porto, the city is poised to expand strongly in the years ahead. Finally, Porto airport is a competitive airport.

The China International Import Expo gathers more than 150 thousand visitors and around three thousand companies.

The Chinese President, Xii Jinping, opened the event and the CIIE main mission is to open the Chinese market to the world, to promote international trade and cooperation among all participating countries.

The city of Porto takes part in the Expo in the context of the Portuguese participation, promoted by AICEP, the Portuguese Business Development Agency.
