French corporate and investment bank, Natixis delivers the Champion for Change Programme in Porto, this week, with the goal of promoting both diversity and inclusion in the technology sector in Portugal.

The project is part of the bank's global initiative themed "WINN - Women In Natixis Network", which considers actions in the field of education and Information.

The launching of the programme is scheduled for next Friday, 18 January starting at 5 pm. The event will be attended by Nathalie Risacher, Senior Country Manager of Natixis Portugal, and Ana Teresa Lehmann, former State Secretary for Industry, who will discuss the participation of women in Technology in Portugal and the way Natixis envisages women's roles in that ecosystem.

The agenda includes the topics of "Gender Equality and Unmindful Bias" as well as the closing session by Anne-Christine Champion, WINN's President.

Natixis relocated to Porto just one year ago, as according to its President, Laurent Mignon stated the Invicta to be "the perfect solution", a city that is home to talented and well-educated people and that offers the environment of innovation and entrepreneurship that spurs in that northern region. The President of Natixis also spotlighted that they have found talent in Porto, highly skilled and dedicated professionals, graduated by Universities and Institutes greatly qualified in Science and technology, and able to speak a lot of languages, which Natixis couldn't find in France.

Natixis is a French corporate and investment bank established in November 2006 from the merger of the asset management and investment banking operations of Natexis Banque Populaire (Banque Populaire group) and IXIS (Groupe Caisse d'Epargne).
