Portuguese textile industry brings together 6000 buyers at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is the place to be for the Textile Trade Fair and Exhibition, in the framework of the Modtissimo salon. This is the only textile event to be held in an airport, and it brings together circa 6000 buyers.

Garments on trend, fashion and innovation are on display on the departures floor of Porto Airport. Special highlight for the guest appearance by a delegation from Morocco. There is a strong participation of buyers from countries such as Spain, Holland, Russia and Germany.

The fact that German entrepreneurs are present in Porto is noteworthy as the German Textile Industry is renowned for its elevated technique and high-quality materials.

The event comprises the display of 30 types of fabric, 14 products, and 10 fitting companies. There is also a dedicated area for sustainable products and companies, themed 2the Green Circle by iTechStyle".

The agenda of the textile fair also includes the Textile Trends Forum, regarding the 2020 Spring/Summer season, the Child Forum, the New Talents Forum to showcase emergent designers, as well as seminars, lectures and workshops.
