This year, the São Silvestre race of Porto, scheduled for 26 and 27 December, goes virtual for the first time ever. Applications are open and participants can choose between the 10km race or the 5km walk.

The Lidl S. Silvestre Cidade do Porto is considered a time to gather with family and friends whilst practising exercise. Last year, the S. Silvestre do Porto edition attracted more than 100 thousand people to Downtown Porto to see athletes compete.

This year, owing to the pandemic, the race will be competed in a virtual platform. All information is available at the Runporto website.

The participation kit includes the t-shirt and the dorsal digital gear, a bracelet and a neck collar for the colder evenings.

This competition has a noble goal as well, as for each registration in the race, the organisation will donate one euro to the Legião da Boa Vontade.
