ScaleUp Porto promotes the city's technology ecosystem at European level

The municipal initiative ScaleUp Porto takes part in one of the most relevant technological events in Europe, the TNW (The Next Web) Conference 2020, on 1st and 2nd October, in a digital format.  

It is estimated that over 25 thousand participants will networking and boost business opportunities.

ScaleUp Porto participation in this event, via a virtual stand, promotes Porto technological ecosystem as a source of knowledge and a gateway for business opportunities either for investors or for potential clients for the region's startups.

This conference will be attended by the deputy Mayor of Porto Filipe Araújo, in charge of the Innovation and Environment Department at Porto City Hall. Filipe Araújo will take part in the panel "Development of tools for empowering communities", together with Kriya Mehta, in charge of the international partnerships at Startup Amsterdam.

The city of Porto has been a solid participant at the TNW Conference in these past three years, especially regarding the Startup City Summit agenda, thus continuing to strengthen its reputation as technological hub at international level.

This will be the 15t edition of such an event and over 25 thousand participants are expected to take part in the debate regarding the role of technology in the collective future.
