Serralves hosts a cinema cycle devoted to the environment

Serralves plays host to the Cine Eco Festival, a celebration entirely devoted to the environmental theme, from 6 to 9 February.
From feature to short films and workshops, there is aplenty activities to boost environmental awareness.
This is a joint partnership with Lipor and the purpose is to host the Extension of the 25th edition of the International Film Festival of Environmental Cinema of Serra da Estrela - Cine Eco.
It is held every year since 1995, organised by the Municipality of Seia.
The main goal is to participate in the environmental platform that the city of Porto provides, by means of the creative process that cinema represents.
The four-day event focuses on emerging themes and is targeted at older and younger audiences, with the goals of raising awareness and promote a shared reflexion through the films screening.
