Seu Jorge and Daniel Jobim sing Tom Jobim at Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, on 5th July

Set the date: on 5th July head to Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, as Seu Jorge and Daniel Jobim will perform the most iconic songs by Tom Jobim, the internationally famous Brazilian composer, pianist, songwriter, arranger and singer.

Tom Jobim is widely regarded as the "father of Bossa Nova", a music style created in the 1960s that merges samba and jazz, and which achieved remarkable popular success. His songs have been performed by many singers and instrumentalists, both in Brazil and worldwide.

On 5th July, in Porto, the repertoire includes songs as "The Girl from Ipanema", "Corcovado", "Luíza", "Eu sei que vou te amar", "Lígia" and "A Felicidade".

Other recordings of the iconic "The Girl from Ipanema" are Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, and Stan Getz.

The show happens following the invitation by Seu Jorge to Jobim's grandson, Daniel Jobim.
