"Surrealism" is the theme of this year's AMIarte edition of street art exhibition showcased in Mupis across Porto and inaugurated on 6 July.
AMI is a Portuguese private, independent, non-profit, non-political NGO, whose goal is to fight poverty, social exclusion, underdevelopment, hunger and the consequences of war all around the world.

This exhibit of urban art by the cultural centre of the AMI Foundation in Porto is the result of a challenge to several artists towards developing an art work that raises people's awareness on the mission carried out by AMI.

Porto City Hall supports the event, which will be "at a blink of an eye" for everyone to see, for about three weeks.

As usual, after the three week exhibition, there will be a fund raising dinner, whose revenue will revert to AMI.

The 2019 edition is curated by Rosa Azevedo and it features art work by Afonso Cruz, Alexandre Esgaio, André Alves, Cláudia Clemente, Constança Araújo Amador, João de Azevedo, João Maio Pinto, lina&nando, Luísa Sequeira, Nuno Moura, Paulo Catrica, Pedro Sim, Sama, Sebastião Peixoto and Zé Teibão.
