The National Theatre São João (TNSJ) invites for virtual guided tours, till 31st July. This is a remarkable opportunity to learn about the theatre from the perspective of reputed personalities of the theatrical sector, namely António Durães, Emília Silvestre, Nuno Carinhas, Francisca Carneiro Fernandes and Eduardo Paz Barroso, or even the architects Luís Soares Carneiro and João Carreira. 

These hosts will let participants in the "magic box" of theatre, as stated in a note published in the official site.

The visits are available on the TNSJ site and on Vimeo.

"This is a reference theatre, not only for the city of Porto but also for the entire country", states João Reis when greeting participants to the NTSJ that celebrates its centennial anniversary this year.

The São João Theatre, commonly referred to as the São João National Theatre is a Portuguese theatre and concert venue in civil parish of Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória, in the municipality of Porto, in northern Portugal.
