Technological platform H2 Porto is spotlighted as Best Strategic Tools

The technological platform H2 Porto is as management tool that comprises not only the management of the water supply, the waste water systems and the rain water network, but also the streams and beaches of Porto and collects information from 22 different origins to over 400 users. This management was granted the title of Best Strategic Tool.

"Porto is a city where there are concrete projects for the development of technological infrastructure, to promote and/or support entrepreneurship and knowledge centres", explains Frederico Martins Fernandes, President of Águas do Porto.

"It would not actually make sense for the company managing Porto city water not to incorporate and promote this ground-breaking and innovative ecosystem for value creation and development of technology to further develop our business and allow a better provision of services to the citizens", adds Frederico Fernandes.

The Technological Platform for Águas do Porto was launched in 2015, and its main goal is to preview, in a single interface and in real time, all that is ongoing within the company, to support decision making and multiple system integration.
