The Faculty of Engineering provides orientation days to new mobility programme students

From 9 till 20 September, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) helps new mobility students settle in town, as the first weeks can be a bit weary. 

This activity is held in the scope of "Orientation Days", with the goal of welcoming and helping newcomers settles in campus and be more easily acquainted with the new environment, as they begin a new academic year in Porto.

"Orientation days" initiative is organised by the Cooperation Unit at FEUP and it includes cultural, administrative and academic support.

Students will participate in a official welcome ceremony, presided by the FEUP's Director, visits to the campus, so as to get familiar with the several department or the library and it concludes with a multi-cultural gathering at the amazing City Park of Porto.

It is worth highlighting that the "Orientation Days" are part of a broader programme, themed Softlanding, which is also promoted by the faculty of Engineering in the scope of international initiatives and feature, for example, a Portuguese intensive course for foreigners, the ?FEUP Buddy', or the "Contact Point".
