The girls are bringing the fabulous genre at Casa da Música this fall

Casa da Música is to present the fabulous genre with the jazz autum time concert by the trio ELAS E O JAZZ , which will take to the stage on 2nd October, at Sala Suggia, at 9.30pm. Joana Machado, Mariana Norton and Marta Hugon will deliver iconic jazz hits, all time songs that define this genre.

The jazz trio is accompanied on the piano by João Pedro Coelho, on the double bass by Romeu Tristão and on drums by André Sousa Machado.

The evening will be a mixed delight of Broadway contemporary musicals and the New York Jazz clubs, which will take the audience in a journey through the an emotional jazz narrative.

Joana Machado, Marta Hugon and Mariana Norton first met at the Hot Clube de Portugal School. They went their separate ways and one day, decided it was time to join "voices" and create their own jazz cover portfolio, which includes Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Richard Rogers, Jerome Kern or Harold Arlen.
