The iconic gig that first toured Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota

The coolest get together of a rock band happened yesterday at the newly refurbished Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota.

The crowd cheered and the Ornatos Violeta band delivered!

This was debut time for the concert arena at this rehabilitated building in Porto, which is now a state-of-the-art facility, fitted for future needs of international business or cultural events, thanks to the efforts of Mayor Rui Moreira and his team, who fought for a solution for the once derelict building, left to rot by previous municipal governments.

The landmark facility is now restored, with attractive historic features and architectural value.

The opening concert by Ornatos Violeta was already a sold out performance since it was announced, so this evening the concert repeats at the same hour.
