Today, 10th December, the “Cultura em Expansão” municipal programme takes the iconic band from Porto, “Três Tristes Tigres” to the stage at Passos Manuel, who will feature their latest album “Mínima Luz”. The band released this album after a long break in their musical creation.
The concert kicks off at 7.30pm and entrance is free, but prior collection of the ticket is mandatory, starting at 5.30pm, on site.
The "Cultura em Expansão" had to be readjusted owing to the pandemic, with a new calendar of activities that features 38 performances till the end of the year. All performances and activities are free of charge, as usual, but the new rules concerning access and safety mandate that not only the use of face masks is compulsory but also the previous collection of the ticket is also mandatory.
The closing performance features at Theatre Rivoli, with Blind Zero and the Orquestra Juvenil da Bonjóia, on 18th December. Also, to comply with the mandatory curfew, the performances’ schedule was altered and will start earlier than usual.
The rescheduling of the programme was a joint task by the project's artistic team and the four partner associations, namely Confederação, Sonoscopia, Teatro do Frio and Visões Úteis, and the several other artists involved.
The majority of performances that had already been scheduled will be presented till the end of the year, but other performances and the constraints due to the current pandemic, namely residencies, will be included in the 2021 edition.
All safety measures will be in place to safeguard both the artists and audiences' safety. The use of face masks and the prior collection of tickets is mandatory, two hours before the performances begin, and all shows will have assigned seating positions.
Everyone must comply with the guidelines issued by the room assistants. Hand sanitation is also recommended.
