Turkish Airlines continues to betting big on Porto International Airport

Turkish Airlines marks its 5th anniversary in Porto and announces an increase in flight frequencies for the winter flight plan.

The airliner that "flies to more countries than any other airline in the world", according to the company's slogan, opened offices in Porto in the Foz area, in May 2018.

Turkish Airlines is the sole air carrier to operate direct flights between Porto-Istanbul and it had already announced an increase in flight frequencies from five to seven weekly flights between those two cities, as of the IATA winter Schedule 2019.

As such, between 27 October 2019 and 28 March 2020, the airliner will operate flights on Mondays and Wednesdays, from the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport. These flights are already available for reservation at GDS.
