Where is the future of AI headed? Find out in Porto

Porto plays host to the 7th edition of VISUM- Vision Understanding and Machine Intelligence Summer School, with the goal of debating the latest breakthroughs in AI, or as it is sometimes called Machine Intelligence.

This event gathers experts from the academy and from the industry, welcoming about 50 participants from several European countries, from India and from the USA.

INESC TEC - Systems and Computer Engineering Institute of Porto organizes this edition at Portucalense University. The conference kicked off on 4 July and runs until 12 July.

The main aim is "to put forward some theoretical considerations and challenge participants with real-world projects"' stated Ana Rebelo, researcher at INESC TEC, quoted by Lusa.

According to the organisation, participants will team up to creating a project that will be assessed by a jury.
